Systemic Counseling

Systemic counselors use conversations to explore how people's different relationships affect a system. Each social relationship influences a person's emotional experience and behavior in its own way.

Our Approach

Our approach is characterized by acceptance, empathy, impartiality, and appreciation. We assume the independence of the client and view them as 'experts in their own case.' Assuming that everyone can develop their own solutions, we work with the client's existing resources and skills.

Methods of the Systemic Approach

Circular questioning

The miracle question

Reframing

Genogram work

Working with family sculptures

The client's resources are activated to achieve their individual solutions and goals as independently and self-organized as possible. The client is the expert in their problems and solutions; the counselor is the expert in the path to finding the solution.
